Expanding Thumbnail Block
This is just kind of fun to play with. The concept could be used with text and images together. It'd be great for a page where you have limited real estate, but would like to offer more. It could make a page a little more interactive and fun. There are definitely some problems that may not jump out at you initially, so to speak :). Things like scrolling problems - how far up or down a user is when they start the expansion. As you can imagine, trying to figure out where on the user's viewable area an expanding widget is adds another whole level of complexity. Who knows what other kinds of issues you could run into beyond this, but solving problems are always fun!
